NB The NEW ABRSM piano music is now available from us. The formats available are: just the pieces by grade, the pieces with CD or the CD alone.The prices which differ for each grade are listed on the website under AB piano exam music.

Local News

We are very happy to post news of forthcoming musical events on our News page providing they are reasonably local. Also news of national musical events that include local musicians. Taunton is already home to a number of celebrities in the music world whom we hope will help us to keep track of their appearances.

Simon Bell, the talented organist son of Stephen Bell Director of Music at Queen's College Taunton for many years, has recently brought out his second recording, played on the organ at Soutwell Minster, entitled 350 Years of Organ Masterworks, which has received enthusiastic reviews. Simon has recently accepted the position of Assistant Organist at Winchester Cathedral.

The Wednesday Orchestra, Taunton's Longest Running Orchestra has several vacancies for a variety of instruments.

They meet every Wednesday in Termtime from 7.40-9.40pm
